As globolization is an inevitable trend, the cultural exchanges between countries and areas are becoming more frequent all over the world these days. In my opinion, these communications have their own advantages as well as disadvantages.

It is undeniable that the culture exchanges bring quite a few benefits. It opens a window for people in different areas to know others' customs, technologies and civilization. As a result, misunderstanding between races is reduced and therefore harmony blooms. During the process, a great deal of profit which is a considerable contribution to the global economy is created. Various activities and celebrations are held and attract people from all parts of the world, which provides, for instance, the airline companies uncountable opportunities.

Unavoidably,the cultural exchanges have some negative effects.
Its impacts on the culture of a country is sometimes out of the ability for the country to support it. The local culture may partially disappear and turn to be less diverse. As the diversity diminishes, the monotonous world will be presented to the public.
A heavy burden for the reservation of the worldwide culture then come into being.

However, we cannot prevent this from happening. All we can do is to seek a balance point. The education at this stage is extremely important and effective. Once the spirit of patriotism is cultivated, it will be borne in mind to preserve local culture heritages.
